Smart bug was an one week class project to explore the use of servo motor and IR sensor. Servo motor is a devise used to provide mechanical control at a distance. The Figure 4 shows the circuit diagram to control one servo motor with a IR sensor. In this project two servo motors has been used for the locomotion of the bug, connected with two legs. The IR sensor senses any
moving object in front of the “Smart Bug” such as hand movement and triggers the servo motors.
